The streets of Hogsmede were empty, windows and doors closed. The shops were banged up, and looked like they had fought a war. Because they had. But Aiden did not see the area how it was. He was remembering his days at school. Thie first time he visited Hogsmede, all the way to the last time he was there, though he never knew it would be the last time he saw it in it's cheery and happy state. Kids walked down the street warm, though snow was falling like rain, teachers dashing into the Three Broomsticks, attempting to hide from the students who they had to see on a day to day basis. He remembered those days, and it seemed like they were over.
As he passed, shopkeepers looked cautiously at him, thinking he was a Death Eater. In fact, they were far off the mark. He was not a Death Eater, but a member of the rebellion. He was previously best friends with Levi Parkinson, who found the cure. Aiden tried to rally people to fight with them against the dark side, though his attempts failed because of the terror of being found out. Aiden tried to reach out to others on his side, only to be found by the darker forces, sending him into hiding for a month. He tried to fight back, to make the place better for his children.
On the thought of children, Aiden wondered if his would ever get to see the wonderful magic of Hogwarts, and joy of Hogsmede, and the wonders of Diagon Alley, all of which that seemed to have disappeared. Strangly, Aiden felt comfort in the fact that if it was destroyed, nobody else would know the secrets laid down in these places. It was a sad thought, tha tof which these places never being lively again. It was so dreary, like the overcast sky. Sad and disappointing.
On the walk down the main lane that the town resided, Aiden thought of the past. He remembered Zonkos, playing jokes on Levi and their friends. It broke his heart that his son, Cyril, might never get to experience the joy of Aiden's past. He might never be able to trust anybody, or to have such a great friend like levi. Levi, who knew Aiden's darkest secret. Levi, who had fought by his side so many times, who had Aiden's back. Levi, who had disappeared for the good of the world. Levi, who would always be the bestfriend of Aiden, no matter where he was.
Aiden woke from his reoccuring dream, of five years ago. He stared at the ceiling of the home he shared with his wife and her half brother. Dressed in black, Aiden grabbe dhis wand and apparated to the location of his dream, Hogsmede. He saw people, as it was a weekend for Hogwarts. Aiden smiled, realizing that his dream was just that.
((hey whoever, sorry it sucks. :[ ))
